Today we are making homemade turkey breakfast sausage made with nothing but pure Turkey and a ton of herbs and spices so let’s get started all
- Some Fennel Seed
- Brown Sugar
- Some Garlic Powder
- Smoked Seasoning Salt
- Red Pepper Flakes
- A Little Bit Of Ground Clove
- Some Organic Ground Turkey
- Some Olive Oil
We’re going to start with an array of seasonings here into a small bowl. We’re going to add some fennel seed got to have that fennel seed for sausage going to add in a little bit of sage and some thyme. Now I’m going to add in a little bit of brown sugar for a little bit of sweetness and that’s going to add in some garlic powder.
Some smoked seasoning salt and here I have some red pepper flakes and some black pepper go and throw that in, and a little bit of ground clove just kind of play off those ingredients don’t forget you guys.
Now we’re going to stir this up and get everything nice and combined be sure to really break down that brown sugar okay so it’s really mixed in there really good like that perfection. Now I have some organic ground turkey he’s gonna add my spice oh no she can’t even help oh okay go ahead and add those spices right into that turkey just like that and now go ahead.
Just massage the meats okay massage the meat distribute those spices. I like to use my hand even though I hate doing this with nails on nothing distributes spices and ground meat like your hands. Carping now the meat is all guards I mean the spices are all mixed in looks yeah man yeah okay great now it’s going to take a little bit of this meat here and just form it into a nice little cute little patty okay I to do little small patty sometime to be like little shapes and stuff for Isaac.
5We’re going to do now is just wrap these up place them in the fridge overnight if you don’t want to overnight it’s fine those will be flavorful but
you know overnight it’s always this the next day go ahead and unwrap them now you want to heat some olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat and just take your little sausage place it right on into the egg skillet.
6We’re going to cook these bad boys until they are browned okay now though all should be nice and simmer if it’s real loud and crackling that means
your heat is way too high okay perfect just like that and when they’re browned on that cycle head and flip it to the other side make sure you don’t overcook these things because they’ll be all dry and stuff instead of juicy but they’ll still taste good but they just won’t have that you know juicy texture okay so go ahead and let them cook.
7When they’re done go ahead and remove them and place them on a plate with some paper towels or a kitchen cloth and let them drain a little bit and
that’s pretty much it you guys homemade Turkey breakfast sausage.
