1It is going to be tomato mozzarella bites and it involves using our cut basil cherry tomatoes and fresh mozzarella I’ll have you open the package kill that’s cheese and that cheese is going to give us lots of calcium and it’ll be a nice little treat as we wait for the rest of our food to cook what I’m going to have you do is take these cherry tomatoes.
2You’ll cut those in half there while you are cutting the tomatoes I’m going to go ahead and I’m going to cut the fresh mozzarella into small bite-sized pieces and we are going to get you something to eat in a second because you can try one of these appetizers and tell us how they taste now.
3Let’s take the leaves off of our basil would you like to do that just pull just pull the leaf off at the stem so so what we’re going to wire individual leaves there’s one leaf to leaf. Then we’re going to stick them together with the tomato the piece of cheese the leaf and the other tomato so when they’re done they’ll end up looking like this.
4This is how much cheese making yes would you like to also make some so I’ll give you a few tomatoes so you’re going to do one tomato would you like to put the cheese on the end and a piece of cheese and basil and you want to put the top on it you can see how easy these are to make they’re nutritious their low calorie these food items are available any season I think the challenge is a lot of some a lot of bases yes Italians will use a lot of basil and basil is used in cooking from the Mediterranean countries you guys are doing an excellent job.
5We’re going to end up having an appetizer to go along with our herb infused water you did so our sauce two important ingredients from Italy the balsamic vinegar and the olive oil baron when the chickens done so we so what we’ll do is we’ll put in half of a cup of balsamic vinegar then we’ll put in a fourth of a cup of olive oil stir it with our spoon gently that looks cool that does with the vinegar and the oil mixed and we’ll put that in the center of our plate can there we have our tomato basil bites yeah and that nice.
