I’m gonna show you holiday appetizer Sweet Bacon Crackers.
- Black Pepper
- Brown Sugar
1It’s more like a finger food type holiday appetizer well you’ll see either way I’m gonna get started I lent my pan with foil to make cleanup easier story of my life let’s hope it works and I’m going to take bake him it does not matter what brand and Ritz crackers want to wrap the bacon on to the Ritz cracker and for some reason I feel like I need to spray this this foil so we’re gonna do that just to be sure it doesn’t stick.
2I want to start with some bacon just I usually get whatever is the cheapest and looks halfway decent and I’m going to take part of this and just cut the pieces in half here just start with a few pieces take this and cut them in half like this.
3I think scissors would have been easier either way there’s that now I use the brand name you know what they are these crackers and I just like them better they’re not overly salted they taste have a buttery taste to them and this is the thick cut bacon just going to take it start on one side.
4Just fold it around to the other and then we’re gonna lay it on our pan right here and just line them up just like this line it up on to the pan going to do the rest of these and I will check back with you in just a moment okay now I have all of well.I’m gonna take these and sprinkle brown sugar on top I actually thought about putting some black pepper first and then doing a little bit of brown sugar but I don’t think I’m gonna do that this time.
5I think I’m just going to put the brown sugar and okay I’m sprinkling brown sugar on each one it doesn’t matter if you use dark brown or light brown I usually prefer light brown sugar however I have dark brown sugar on hand so that’s what I’m going to use I want to pop these in the oven for 60 to 90 minutes you just have to watch them and when the bacon looks crispy then it should be done and we’ll take a peek once they are finished you.
