I Am Making Spinach Artichoke Lasagna.
- Cream Cheese Sauce
- 2/3 A Cup Of Milk
- 1 Teaspoon Of Garlic Powder
- 12 Ounces Of Frozen Defrosted
- Chopped Artichoke Hearts
- 10 Ounces Of Frozen Defrosted Spinach
- 15 Oz Container Of Ricotta
- Half A Cup Of Mozzarella Cheese
- Dried Basil
- Red Pepper Flakes
- Ground Nutmeg
- A Little Bit Of Freshly Chopped Parsley
1Let’s get started with the cream cheese sauce I have 4 ounces of room-temperature cream cheese and to that I added 2/3 a cup of milk, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste. I’m going to cook this down on low heat for about 5 minutes until it’s nice and creamy. Let’s move on to the filling in my bowl. Here I have 12 ounces of frozen defrosted and chopped artichoke hearts and 10 ounces of frozen defrosted spinach which I’ve squeezed tried to remove as much liquid as possible to that. I’m adding a whole 15 oz container of ricotta and about half a cup of mozzarella cheese.
2I’m going to save the remaining cheese to sprinkle on top of the real roll-ups when they’re all filled I also have two cloves of minced garlic and then I have some spices here which include salt, pepper, dried basil, red pepper flakes, and ground nutmeg, and then a little bit of freshly chopped parsley I also have half a cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese and then when give that a quick stir to mix everything together and then we can get started putting this filling inside the lasagna roll-ups.
3First I’m going to pour the half of the sauce on the bottom of my pan there and as you can see the sauce is a little bit lumpy but that’s perfectly okay it’s all gonna cook down and it’s going to be delicious. So I’m grabbing a quarter cup of my filling and I’m going to spread it along the bottom of my cooked lasagna noodle there and I’m going to tightly roll up the filling and place it seam side down in my pan once I have all my rolls filled up and place in the pan.
4I’m going to top them with their remaining cream sauce so just spread the cream sauce evenly all over and then sprinkle on the remaining half cup of mozzarella cheese and this is going to go in a 350 degree oven for about 20 to 30 minutes or until lightly Brown if you like for your cheese topping to be super golden-brown you can go ahead and boil it for a few minutes.
