We get started let’s go over the ingredients you’re gonna need some fresh shrimp which I have been shelled and deveined but I kept the tail on give me some chili sauce ketchup ,some prepared horseradish, fresh lemon juice, some Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper and a little bit of olive oil because. I’m sautÃ©ing the shrimp but I sometimes what I do is instead of sauteing them I just put them in the oven and roast them in like 400 for about 5 to 6 minutes because it happens really really quickly now we’re going to work on the shrimp first because the sauce comes together in seconds what I’m going to do is I’m just going to season them with salt and pepper and I have about a tablespoon and a half of olive oil on my skillet getting really hot over high heat so, I’m just going to leave this aside until the oil is up to temperature now.
I add in my shrimp but these are going to cook for about three to four minutes they don’t sit very long at all now in the meantime. you’re going to work on the sauce now the things to remember is that, I’m using you’re going to use equal parts of the chiles and the ketchup so at this time. I’m using 1/2 a cup of each so all you’re gonna do is pretty much mix anything in but with cocktail sauce it’s really about it’s about how you like it. I don’t like a lot of horseradish so you only put in a tablespoon but if, you want more you can always put it more so just mix it up and then I like to put it with just a squeeze of lemon and then just a few drops of water search that now some people really like pushes a sauce so they put more some people don’t like it at all so don’t put in it at all but like.
I said if it’s up to taste so and you don’t need any salt and pepper for this because you have plenty of heat from the horseradish obviously so, it’s perfect just as is and all I’m going to do is to set that aside and then just cook the shrimp until that’s all done shrimp are done and they only took about four minutes now doesn’t that look much better than boiled shrimp at about and I personally like my shrimp hot and my cocktail sauce.
