- Vanilla Extract
- Semi-Sweet Chocolate
We take you over the ingredients so we can get started you need some all-purpose flour, some cocoa powder ,instant espresso, baking powder, salt pepper, peppermint, patties plain old granulated sugar eggs unsalted butter that’s a room-temperature vanilla extract and you’re going to need some melted semi-sweet chocolate that’s it you want to get your oven preheated to 350 you get a 9 by 13 inch pan spray your nonstick spray and I’ve lined it with parchment paper just to make sure nothing sticks and now we’re ready to get started so easy now.
I’m going to do this in my big mixer just because it makes my life a lot easier I’m gonna add in my sugar and my butter and I’m gonna mix these together you want to make sure that the butter is really softened at room temperature and I’m gonna mix these together for a good minute or so I want them to be really light that I want to make sure to be really light and fluffy well mixed together so let that go in the meantime I’m just going to take my spoon and combine all of my dry ingredients together that’s all that looks good just going to scrape the sides just to make sure everything gets combined really well add in my eggs a good splash of vanilla extract always of course and then.
I’m going to add in my melted chocolate that’s been cooled otherwise if, I were to add really hot chocolate to this it’ll scramble the eggs and like chop the scrambled eggs right now that I’ve never had any but actually no I’m totally lying years ago when I was maybe 12 this is right after I moved to the US and I was baking my first batch of brown nice I added hot melted chocolate to a mixture scramble the eggs I know oh my god maybe once I put the chocolate there you have flour in it’ll all get combined well then I baked it I poured add I made them for him and let’s just say that he deserved a medal for eating them and tell me how good they were even though I knew they had scrambled eggs in them anyways you’re gonna mix that together until the seed mixtures it’s really fluffy and creamy and well combined and then.
We’ll add in the next ingredient and pretty much get this thing rolling cuz it needs to get into the oven so you can get in my belly that looks awesome already looks like mousse yummers so once that’s at that point we’re gonna add in our dry ingredients get them all in there and I’m just gonna mix this solo until it’s all incorporated if, I mix it on high. I’ll get covered in flour and that’s just not a good look for me so Oh woah just until everything is well incorporated you have a nice smooth batter but don’t let this go for five minutes otherwise. we’ll develop the gluten in the flour and you’ll end up with bread instead of delicious fudge enos enos brownie looks great.
5I’m going to take two-thirds of this batter and I’m going to put it right into my prepared pan here and try to smooth it out as best as I possibly can with my spatula that looks good don’t worry about it because we’re going to go back with the rest of it anyway and then. you’re going to cover the whole surface with peppermint patties that’s right cover this baby up as best as you can and then you just go over the top of all of that with your remaining batter and I’m not sure if, I mention that but you need to get your oven preheated to 350 just to get it ready for the brownies to go in and now just do your best to kind of get this as even as possible spread out throughout the entire top covering the peppermint patties that looks great
So,trying to get it all off of your finger in the spatula this is going to go into your preheated oven at 350 for about 35 to 40 minutes then you want to let this cool completely and want it there I’m going to show you what they look like and then we’re going to file and cut into them my brownies baked for around 35 minutes. and I like my cool completely and they’re ready it.
