You already ingredients so you can get started you’re going to some ground sirloin, some Italian turkey sausage. I’ll talk about this in a second fresh parsley this is a Fresno chili that. I have just seeded shallot, garlic, mozzarella, egg, breadcrumbs, some pre-made basic tomato, basil marinara. You’re gonna need some buns a little oil salt pepper Parmesan Reggiano. you have those on hand, I’m going to put these in a little food processor you can also just chop them up super fine you don’t have to have this but it just makes my life easier and I’m just going to chop this list nice and find it’s awesome now.
I’ve got about TSP of olive oil in this little tiny skillet over about medium-high heat and now, I’m going to add in all of my chopped up herbs and chilli and garlic and shallots. I’m going to just put that in here smells so good and what I’m doing it’s kind of releasing all of the flavors I’m only going to cook this for about 30 seconds. I don’t want to cook it for too long but I just want to release all those flavors and kind of wake them up and let them come to life so that they really like flavor up our mixture beautifully stuff.I have sausage and ground beef you can certainly just do this with ground sausage or just ground beef.
I used up leftover pork sausage now what I found was that it was a little too greasy so the next time. I went to make it I decided to use turkey sausage Italian turkey sausage and I really liked the consistency a lot better it wasn’t as greasy but still has tons and tons of flavor so, what I’m doing is just removing the casing because I don’t obviously want the casing. I’m going to roll these up into meatballs so that’s what I’m doing it into this I’m going to add in my ground beef this is ground sirloin and then I’m going to turn this off because this is hat it’s 30 seconds I’m just going to mix on ground beef sausage mixture together to my ground beef mixture.
I’m going to put in our spice and onions mixture that we cooked up very very briefly make sure you wash your hands after you’ve mixed up all your ground meats you don’t want to cross contaminate anything seasoned this well with some salt and pepper and then. I’m gonna add in one egg a little bit of bread cru.mbs and back in with my hands to mix everything together until have a really nice combining mixture once your mixture is all mixed well. I’m going to use an ice cream scoop. I call these sliders only because I serve them individually on little mini buns but you can make them really really small.
5When you can just put a couple of these on a large hoagie roll by all means do whatever you want so take some of your mixture put that in my hand take a piece of mozzarella. I know see where I’m going with this the cheese is going to be inside the meatball there are Regis.I’m going to put in some tomato basil marinara just some basic marinara sauce covered it up yeah! I’m telling you these are so incredible lid on turn the heat down to medium and let those cook for about 5 to 6 minutes or until they’re fully cooked through and then. I’m gonna show you how to serve them they’re incredible so stay tuned just give me a couple seconds until.
