I am going to show you how to make maple Candied Bacon.
- Brown Sugar Maple Syrup
- Rice Vinegar
1Let’s get started lay your bacon on a wire rack chopped baking tray and cook in the oven for 10 minutes at 350 degrees while the bacon is cooking mix together your brown sugar maple syrup and rice vinegar and whisk to combine after the 10 minutes are up flip the bacon and bake for another 5 minutes.
2After 5 minutes remove the bacon and paint on your brown sugar maple glaze once the first side is covered flip the bacon and paint the other side if you wanted to add cayenne or black pepper now would be the time once coated place the bacon back in the oven for 5 minutes 5 minutes later remove the bacon and do the same process as before and one side flip.
3And then paint the other if you added pepper I wouldn’t add any more to it once again once the bacon is coated place it back in the oven for five minutes take it out and repeat the same process until you have something that looks like this this took me four paintings for a total of 35 minutes cook time fly for each painting ten for the start.
4Five for the first flip let the bacon cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes the sugar is going to start to solidify that point and really crisp up the bacon all of the ingredient amounts and cooking instructions can be found at four minutes or less.
