Today I’m going to show you how to make a jalapeno poppers.
- Jalapeno Poppers
- Lightly Flour
- Puff Pastry Sheet
- Cream Cheese
- Garlic And Crumbled Bacon
- 24 Pepper Halves
Your oven to 400 degrees in a small bowl combine your egg and your water and beat it with a fork we can put that aside lightly flour the area. You’ll be working with and unfold your puff pastry sheet. You want to roll your pastry sheet out to a rectangle that’s about nine by 12 inches then you want to cut 12 3 inch squares do the same with the other sheets so you have 24 squares in total in a medium-sized bowl combine your cream cheese shredded cheese garlic and crumbled bacon spoon.
2Out about 2 teaspoons worth of the cheese mixture and spread it into your jalapeno have repeat this step with all 24 pepper halves take your pepper half and place it cheese side down diagonally on your 3-inch pastry square. Then fold up the sides of the pastry so it covers up the pepper half you want to pinch it tight.
3So, it seals it then you want to give your pepper half an egg wash using our egg mixture we made earlier. I always like to sprinkle it with a little bit of the extra cheese. So go ahead and do that if you like place your pepper half on a baking sheet and do the same with the rest of the pepper house thank your Papa’s for about 20 minutes or until the pastries are golden brown before you serve them let them cool for about ten minutes and then let your crowd go wild. I’m CJ Rossini and I hope these poppers add some kick to your next big game day or dinner party if you’d like to pair this dish with wine try a Prosecco it has hints of fruit and citrus and it balances perfectly with the spicy jalapeno in this dish.
