Today, We’ll be Making Home Fries.
- Three Idaho Potatoes
- Green Pepper
- Red Pepper
1I’m going to teach you how to just do regular classic home fries okay so we have three Idaho potatoes here so what we’re going to do is we’re going to take and we’re going to run them through water with the back of your sponge it’s okay if you have a little soap that’s alright sowe’re just going to clean them up just like that rinse them out so they’re really nice and clean because we’re gonna keep this skin so just like that nicely and now what we’re going to take going to take our knife okay and what we’re going to do is we’re going to slice them in half like this and then what we’re going to do in the slice them in another half so we’re going to take all three potatoes and we are going to do the same exact thing slice them in half and then you’re going to slice them in half again being very careful that you don’t cut your
nails while cutting the potatoes okay so this is the last one slice in half and then you’re going to slice in another half and then what you’re going to do is you’re going to start to cut them top okay.
2So, Really easy you want to cut them to about maybe half an inch this is great for breakfast this is amazing for a late-night snack you could always add a little bacon a little cheese and okay so now that we have them sliced up what we’re going to do is we are going to come to the stove and we’re going to turn on the pan okay so we have a regular saucepan here I’m going to turn on the stove oops wrong okay there we go and what we’re going to do is we have here our Moho sauce so this is our mower the last of it so you see the garlic I will put in the description below a link so you could learn how to make them all sauce and what we we’re going to stir this and we’re going to take three tablespoons making sure you get enough of the garlic okay and we’re going to let that heat up there.
3I’m just going to throw that there and now what we’re going to do is we’re going to push this to the side the potatoes and now I have half of a green pepper here so we have this half of a green pepper and what we’re going to do is we’re going to run this under water and we’re just going to clean off these white little areas under cold water okay just like that and now what we’re going to do is we’re going to slice once again about maybe half an inch and we could see that the Moho is heating up already because it’s bubbling so that’s what you want and so now what we’re going to do is slice up the green pepper you don’t want to do it too small because when it cooks up you pretty much have nothing so you don’t want the pepper to be too small so about this size that’s how you want it okay you don’t want them too big and you definitely don’t want them too small because when they cook they pretty much disappear so while that’s on.
4What we’re going to do is we’re going to throw that in here let that start cooking up a little bit and now we have a red pepper so same thing we want to rinse out the red pepper I wish you could be here the the garlic smells while this Moho sauce is incredible so now what we’re going to do is we’re going to take about let’s gonna slice it this way okay we’re going to take about half of the pepper you always want to discard this okay so I like to clean it up just like that and you already know me I like to throw everything in my ax in my sink and now we’re going to do the same thing cut this up so basically for this recipe we are using half of a red pepper half of a green pepper and half of onion okay and we’re going to throw that in here so this already is very very fragrant so that’s amazing now we have a onion so now
we’re going to use a little less than half an onion you want to take off the peel just like this perfect.
5We’re going to rinse that off as well okay and the same thing we’re going to cut this like that I like to cut it in half and then we’re going to do just like that perfect I think actually we’re not going to use this piece of onion so it’s going to be a little less than half maybe about 1/3 cup of diced onion and now we have this like this what you want to do is break up the onion so obviously your hands are clean so don’t feel bad by getting up in there and just break them up just like that and now what you’re going to do is you’re going to quickly add potatoes so we’re going to add the potatoes in there so this is a really quick simple recipe .you can do it the day before so when you’re making breakfast it’s it’s already done and that is how it is going to look now what you want to do is start adding the condiments so here we have a take a teaspoon of smoked paprika.
6So, that is what we have here and you want to go kind of back and forth and make sure you spread it nicely here we have a teaspoon of dark brown garlic and onion powder once again sprinkle that all over just like this we have here a teaspoon of sea salt so there you go sprinkle that around and here we have a half a teaspoon of cumin and a half a teaspoon of black pepper and we’re gonna sprinkle that around okay and now don’t look in my drawer I am coating that and now what we’re going to do is we’re going to start stirring this up it smells so good right now so that’s what you want to do you want to give it a nice stir it smells so so good just like that and then what I’m going to do is actually throw a tiny bit of salty oil just a little nothing too much I want to give it a little bit more color okay so I will be right back with that children so here you go I’m just using very little.
7I chop the oil just to give it a little bit more color and I will put on the link down below on how you make I chop the oil at home okay from the bottom you want to give it a nice stir so that everything gets a really nice color oh my god smells amazing and then what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna simply leave this just like this and give it a quick cover it really does smell so good okay so we’re going to cover this and we’re gonna leave that cooking for about let’s say seven eight minutes and then we’ll stir again okay Oh cover bad I’ll pop you guys I’ll just slip in our little water ah okay so now it’s been seven minutes seven minutes and a half okay and now what you want to do is start turning them okay.
8One of days Oh just want to kind of stir and move them around just like that and then remember we have this on a medium flame so make sure that you have it on a medium flame and we’re going to cover it up again for another seven minutes so it should be a total of twenty-one minutes okay which you’ll cook them and they should be done okay so another seven minutes is up so let’s pick that up and once again we’re going to turn it again okay because this will be the last time that we turn it so by then everything will be cooked that is my phone don’t worry about that there you go give it a nice turn and a little pepper failure so I gotta eat it mmm ha so there you go we’re going to cover it up for the final seven minutes and then um it will be the seven minutes is up so let me pose what I do sorry okay so six seven minutes is up so we’re gonna turn this off and get this plate out of the way and now we’re just gonna put it in this beautiful plate try not to make such a mess there you go and that is your home fries delicious so now is of course the best time of all how is the best time of all I think this is like the happiest time I smile like from here to here so it is finally done.
