- Some Sugar
- Softened Butter
- Lime Zest
- Lime Juice
- Condensed Milk
You’re gonna need some graham cracker, crumbs, some sugar, some softened butter, lime zest, lime juice, condensed milk,and just some lime wedges and some like whipped topping more regular whipped topping whichever you prefer now. I love this pie because key lime pie is one of my favorite favorite pie is actually the little tart and I long that. I don’t have to turn the oven on the summer and the heat summer. I can still have a fabulous fabulous key lime pie
so, we’re going to do is. we’ll make a little crust first and for me a key lime pie has to have a graham cracker crumbs crust it can. I have a regular pie crock excuse me a regular pie crust so, what you’ll need is just some crumbs.I just took eight pieces of graham crackers the whole piece and just ran them up and then. you need some quarter cup of sugar this is just regular granulated sugar and some unsalted room-temperature butter and you know what.
You don’t need to melt this it’s absolutely not necessary so, just mix this up until start to adhere together and it’s nice and sticky this is beautifully
sticky together. I’m going to take a 9 inch tart pan with a removable bottom you always use an 8-inch springform pan if, you don’t have a tart pan. I’m just going to put it in my little crumb mixture and now with my hands and the little measuring cup.I’m going to form this beautifully look at that.I love things like this that are quick easy so, inexpensive and especially in the summer when it’s hot and you don’t want to turn your oven on this is a perfect little
tart for it now if.
You can find key lime juice in your refrigerated section of your grocery store then by all means use that but I usually can’t find it i’ve actually found it one time but i’ve found since so, regular regular lime juice works perfectly that’s just about perfect doesn’t have to be completely even now sounds crazy now but, I’m gonna make the filling in this same bowl just because I don’t feel like getting something else dirty and it all tastes good so this is one 14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk look at that all of this stuff just straight out of the can mmm love it. you want to get every little bit out you wanna leave nothing behind and now. we’re going to add our lime zest this is just a zest of one line and I have about a half a cup of fresh squeezed lime juice now this is going to be nice and tart but very sweet at the same time that makes any sense like it’s really tart from the lime juice but stomach really sweet and creamy it’s gonna be so good.
I’m going to get this mixture pour it in there trying to get every little bit out even it as much as possible. you can see the lime zest in there it’s
beautiful mmm love that flavor. I’m taking frozen whipped topping that i’ve thawed this is the like topping but you can use whatever kind that you prefer just work around if, it mixes this together a little bit that’s fine that is absolutely fine or it’s what I like actually and just mix it all just put it on there until. you have a nice topping nice and smooth ah perfect.
5I’m just going to put a few pieces around good for one in the middle here. we go looks beautiful now this is going to go in the fridge about two to three hours you want it to set so, it’s perfectly sliceable that’s. what we’re going to do. I’m going to put this in the fridge and we’ll get it out in about two hours.
