2So let’s start with the recipe so here I have water chestnuts with me so to this put some salt to taste these are 10 water chestnuts if you get the fresh one it would be better so after salt in goes some refined flour and cornstarch this will help the water chestnuts to turn nice and crisp give this a mix so now this is ready to fry.
3So now when the oil gets hot enough I will put the water chestnuts directly into the hot oil now till the time the water chestnuts are getting fried let’s prepare this sauce for crispy water chestnuts so first I’ll add in some oil and then garlic and some ginger I lightly saute them now after this I’ll add the sweet chili sauce give this a mix this will be our base for the sauce now just to adjust the consistency I’ll put some water.
4Now to this I’ll add some red chilli powder for extra spicy flavor some soya sauce mix this properly so here I have some spring onions with me I’ll chop them finely now as you can see water chestnut has turn nice golden brown so this goes directly into this sauce I’ll switch off the flame so here goes the water chestnuts give this a mix and now in the end I will put some tomato ketchup I’ll put lots offspring and in greens give this a mix that’s it this is done and now it will serve this so here it is a beautiful simple and yummy recipe of water chestnuts.
