Today, we are making banana bread with a cream cheese ribbon..
- One Egg
- 1/2 Cup Of Brown Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Of Liquid State Coconut Oil
- Vegetable Oil
- 1/4 Cup Of Sour Cream
- Plain Yogurt
- 2 Teaspoons Of Vanilla Extract
- 1 Cup Of Mashed Banana
- 1/2 A Teaspoon Of Baking Powder
- Half A Teaspoon Of Baking Soda
- 1 Cup Of All-Purpose Flour
- 4 Ounces Of Cream Cheese
1We put large bowl and one egg adding to that 1/2 cup of brown sugar then 1/4 cup of liquid state coconut oil you could use regular vegetable oil as well add in 1/4 cup of sour cream or plain yogurt 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract and stir those things together until it’s nice and smooth now add in 1 cup of mashed banana and that’s the equivalent of about 2 large bananas stir it in and now add some dry ingredients a pinch of salt 1/2 a teaspoon of baking powder and a half a teaspoon of baking soda stir those things in and then add 1 cup of all-purpose flour and blend the flour in until it is just combined you don’t want to over mix this and it will look a little bit lumpy when you’re done stirring it but that’s okay now for the cream cheese layer starting off with 4 ounces of cream cheese.
2I’m telling you this cream cheese wouldn’t smile no matter how many jokes I told it I blend it in 1/4 cup of white granulated sugar until this was nice and smooth and then added in 1 egg gave that little stir and then add it in 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour and continue to stir until the mixture is nice and smooth now you’re going to grease a 9 by 5 inch loaf pan and then place about 2/3 of the banana batter in the bottom of the pan spreading all the way to the edges and making it nice and even and then pour the cream cheese mixture over the top and then gently spread it out so that it’s even and that it goes right up to the edge on all sides of the pan then add in the rest of that batter the rest of that 1/3 of the banana batter and then you’re going to put this in the oven and you’re going to bake this at 350 degrees for about 45 to 50 minutes until.
3When you stick a toothpick in there it comes out with just a few moist crumbs allow it to cool on the pan for about 10-15 minutes then remove it and put it on a wire rack to cool completely and I would suggest you do not cut into this until it’s completely cool it’ll keep the banana bread fromfalling apart when you’re slicing it this is really good banana bread the center ribbon of cream cheese is very visually appealing it looks great when you slice it it’s nice and moist lots of flavor and that cream cheese layer adds a nice contrast to the rest of the banana bread.
