Today I would do another salad recipe on how to make a very classic American Cobb salad.
- Romaine lettuce
- Red chard
- Boiled egg
- Vinegar mustard
- Olive oil
1Now I’m using romaine lettuce and also some red chard. so I like the kind of lettuces that really have got a good bite to them.Now what’s the chard if you’re using charge then take out this big stalk in the middle because you can’t eat that.
2So just scrunch everything up. I’m gonna chop it. Now with the remain as well I’m just going to be cutting it. One ripe avocado and I have a hard-boiled egg that I cooked earlier. Just cut that in half and now it’s just a bit of an assembly job.
3So we just add the lettuce and the chard your bowl. Add the eggs, avocado, tomatoes, chicken. This is just some chopped up chicken breasts that I had and then some crispy bacon chunks and lastly some crumbles blue cheese. These are the main ingredients that go into a classic Cobb salad. I’m going to make a very simple dressing to go with it and it’s just some vinegar mustard and olive oil. so a teaspoon of some Dijon mustard. I’ve got whole grain Dijon there. A couple of tablespoons of white wine vinegar or you can use red wine and a couple of tablespoons of olive oil.
4Just give those stirred together. Sprinkle on the dressing all over the top, I’m going to put some red onion as well on the side and that is done.
