Today, we’re going to make chocolate chip banana bread.
- All-Purpose Flour
- Baking Soda
- Baking Powder
- Ripened Bananas
- Vanilla Extract
- Chocolate Chips
1We’re going to mix all of our dry ingredients starting with our all-purpose flour salt baking soda and baking powder we’re going to whisk everything really well and then we’re just going to set it aside we’re also going to need some ripened bananas and these should have some brown spots on the banana peel we’re going to put them in a bowl and then we’re going to mash them either with a potato masher or a fork now we’re going to mix the rest of the ingredients starting with the room-temperature butter and the sugar and we’re going to blend this really well until it’s nice and creamy.
I’m using a spatula to do this but you can use a handheld mixer if you want then we’re going to add our eggs and we’re going to do it one at a time we’re also going to add a little bit of milk buttermilk works really well. some vanilla extract you or mashed bananas and our chocolate chips and adding the chocolate chips it’s absolutely optional so you don’t have to add them if you don’t want to and you can also add walnuts if you want or even cinnamon then the last thing.
3We’re going to add is our dry ingredients and we’re going to mix everything well until most of the flour is completely gone once your batter is ready we’re just going to pour it into a loaf pan that has been buttered and floured or that has been covered with parchment paper like I did here and then we’re going to bake it at 325 degrees for about an hour and 10 minutes once her bread is ready we’re just going to let it rest for 10 minutes and after ten minutes we’re going to take it out of the loaf pan and let it cool.
